About Us

Bluff Country Feed & Seed, based in Mondovi, WI, was founded at the end of 2020 continuing the Mondovi based feed store that was known as the “Mondovi Feed Service” and eventually became “Klein’s Feed & Seed.” For almost 50 years this business has been a staple in the Mondovi community. In the fall of 2022, we merged with Danzinger Mid-west Bio-Ag, an independent dealership of several companies with a track record of strong customer service, leading back to its founder Bob Schmidtknecht.

Today we focus on supporting our customers across western Wisconsin of all sizes through:

FEED | FERTILIZER | SEED | SERVICE

Who are Matthew and Nicole Costello?

Both grew up on small dairy and hog farms in eastern Iowa. We moved to this part of the world for Nicole’s job as a large animal veterinarian at Mondovi Veterinary Service. A business in which she is now a part owner. We have two children and a beagle at home. We love working with farms across western WI because it feels like home: a community with farms of all sizes and pride in the country lifestyle.

At Bluff Country Feed & Seed, we strive to empower farmers with the tools they need to unlock their land’s true potential. We are driven by a shared vision of sustainable and regenerative agriculture, that often times a wholistic approach to your operation is needed beyond a simple band-aid fix. We believe that by working closely together, we can unlock the full potential of your land, achieve higher yields, and contribute to a thriving agricultural community.

From offering a diverse seed line-up to biologically focused fertilizers, we offer a comprehensive range of solutions dedicated to serving farmers and agricultural enthusiasts with the utmost professionalism and integrity. We are not a massive conglomerate of cooperatives, but that allows us to focus 100% on customer satisfaction.

Contact us today, and let our team assist you in selecting the right feed, fertilizer, or seeds for your farm. Together, we will cultivate success and harvest a brighter future.
